Case Study – Logistics Decisions facilitated the transport of two massive generators (and all of their electrical components) from Brighton, Colorado to Ontario. The delicate cargo weighed in at over half a million pounds (500,000 lbs.) and required 14 trucks to ship.

The team quickly set to work making a detailed spreadsheet; itemizing every component by size, weight and packaging regulations. They then organized a fleet of 14 synchronized trucks to haul the delicate cargo over 2000 miles, in tandem, to the destination. 

The shipments safely arrived at their destination, within the 7 day timeframe, according to a tight schedule that allowed for scheduled offloading to occur without any delay. Throughout the process the equipment was tracked 24/7 by the Logistics Decisions team.
